Redcaps, like Sluagh, are born of fearful dreams rather than more benign ones. While the Sluagh became synonymous with lurking fear and intellectual terror, the Redcaps became partnered with raw visceral horror and physical menace.
Costuming Tips:
Redcaps are rather horrific to look at, with gray, rubbery skin, and red and bloodshot eyes. The skin can be done with makeup or latex prosthetics for the particularly ambitious; the eyes are done with contacts or just rubbing your eyes to excess. Most redcaps do in fact wear the titular "red cap" in one form or another, and that's one of the kith's dead giveaways. Body piercings and tattoos are very common in this day and age as well. Dress for most Redcaps tends towards the practical, with a strong emphasis on leather.
