"Notorious liars and pranksters, these shapechangers are the jesters and comic relief of Kithain society, and they play their part with great pride and enthusiasm."
Pooka are fun loving Kithain who do their part to stave off banality by making other Kithain think more about statements and situations than they normally would. Pooka can each change into an animal when nobody is looking and tend to have many personality characteristics that are similar to the animal with which they have an affinity. Pooka must alter each statement such that it is not wholly true; they can only utter a wholly true statement by spending a willpower. That said, saying the exact opposite of what you mean all the time is very frowned upon. Make no mistake, while incredibly rewarding playing a Pooka can be very difficult to get used to.

Costuming
Pooka costuming can be a lot of fun. If you're playing a furry creature painting your face the right colors go well with ears and a tail, maybe a snout for good measure. Feathers work well for birds and there are plenty of ways to add scales if you want to play a lizard. Be creative there is no 'standard' for Pooka costuming as ever Pooka is very different.
