Lieutenant Elaine McDonough

Elaine is a Grump Troll in her late 20's or early 30's. She's a Lieutenant in the Philadelphia Police Department, where she's served since before the Second Resurgence in 2001. Though she's a firm believer in equality of all kinds - between Seelie and Unseelie, noble and commoner, old and young - Elaine has been solidly apolitical throughout the conflicts in the area, choosing the Troll's archetypal role as protector over something more pro-active. On her breaks, she can often be found at Web's internet cafe Gnew Age. Neither verbose nor outgoing, she's a pillar of the community (at 6'5" in her mortal seeming, literally a pillar of the community) all the same.
